National Tell a Story Day

It’s National Tell a Story Day in England and Scotland. What better time to practice the skill? Telling stories—whether written or verbal—requires an excellent grasp of language and communication. Storytellers must understand their audience in order for their messages to have meaning.  (from ILA)

Those of us in the Americas also should practice the art of storytelling. Sometimes those stories are completely imaginary. Sometimes they are stories from real life. And at other times, they are a combination of the two–part fact, part fiction. How ever you approach story, why not practice today? There’s no time like the present to get started. Go ahead. Just start. See where it leads.

Just Start
